On January 30, 2018, representatives from doctors for healthy communities delivered influenza prevention supplies to schools in Jefferson County.  With the flu epidemic at full force, everyone should keep on doing the following basics:

    • Avoid close contact when out in the community
    • Stay home when you’re sick
    • Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing
    • Wash your hands frequently
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
    • Stop smoking
    • Continue careful surveillance of students and visitors.
