Doctors for Healthy Communities volunteers delivered school supplies to support families at Maxwell Spanish Immersion Elementary School on February 5th, 2021.
Maxwell Elementary is part of Fayette County Public Schools and its mission statement is “Maxwell Escuela de Inmersión en Español is a learning community committed to equity, proficiency for all, and Spanish language acquisition — empowering students for success in a global society.”
Doctors for Healthy Communities (DHC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the community. It’s goals are community outreach with volunteer activities, creating education opportunities and health equity. Our hope is continued collaboration with our public schools for any future needs and to carry on this fellowship of compassion
