Kentucky Country Day students collaborated with Doctors for Healthy Communities (DHC) and collected reusable water bottles on March 5th, 2021. These will be delivered to various Jefferson County Public Schools by the volunteers in preparation for in person classes during the COVID19 pandemic.
Jefferson County Public Schools is the biggest school district in the State of Kentucky. It’s mission statement is “To challenge and engage each learner to grow through effective teaching and meaningful experiences within caring, supportive environments”.
Kentucky Country Day School is a private, coeducational school in Louisville, KY with 815 students in grades pre-K through 12. They educate the whole child through a rigorous college preparatory academic program as well as a wide variety of athletic, fine arts, and extracurricular opportunities.
