Business First Names Dr. Muhammad Babar as “Health Care Hero”

DHC President Dr. Muhammad Babar of Signature Healthcare LLC was named as a Business First 2022 Health Care Hero in the category of “Health Equity Champion.”

This honor is for an organization or person who has worked to break down inequities in health care or health care access for underserved populations or areas of our community, including but not limited to, race, gender, sexual orientation or socioeconomic status.

Dr. Babar is an internal medicine physician at UofL Health – Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He also serves as regional hub medical director with Signature Healthcare. For Dr. Babar, a health care hero is every individual who serves in health care.
