DHC volunteers delivered Kroger gift cards to Dionne Jermeia (Family Resource Counselor of Ashland, Maxwell Elementary) and Principal John Moore (Ashland Elementary) on Nov. 17th, 2023. These gift cards will be provided to families/children for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
Thank you to the school principals and family resource coordinators who made this possible! We’re proud to help fight food insecurity this holiday season.

Ashland Elementary’s vision is: “Ashland will be a school where ALL students are critically thinking problem solvers who demonstrate perseverance, independence, responsibility, and strong moral character. While ensuring that students feel safe, loved, and excited about school and learning, Ashland teachers will partner with students and families to close achievement gaps.”
