The Future Professional of Global Health (FPGH) Outreach Team and Doctors for Healthy Communities (DHC) collected winter jackets, socks, and blankets over December for the Bluegrass Community Health Center (BCHC) Clientele. Approx 50 items were donated on December 15th, 2023, from UKY and Louisville area! Thank you to our partners who were able to set up stations for donations.
FPGH is a student-run organization that provides students the opportunity to understand the barriers facing multicultural communities in accessing health care and to discuss methods of overcoming those barriers. Their mission is to raise awareness of the shortcomings that many multinational groups face in accessing adequate health care.
