Hygiene Supplies Delivered to Ashland Elementary School.

DHC volunteers delivered hygiene bags to Family Resource Counselor of Ashland Elementary, Lexington, KY on May 3rd, 2024. The hygiene supplies included items like shampoo, soap, toothbrushes & paste, floss, deodorant and will be provided to families at the Spring Block Party hosted by Maxwell and Ashland Elementary School.

Ashland Elementary’s vision is: “Ashland will be a school where ALL students are critically thinking problem solvers who demonstrate perseverance, independence, responsibility, and strong moral character.  While ensuring that students feel safe, loved, and excited about school and learning, Ashland teachers will partner with students and families to close achievement gaps.”
