As we prepare for the 2024-25 school year, Doctors for Healthy Communities (DHC) is working with schools in the Louisville & surrounding areas to provide essential school supplies, hygiene and cleaning products for student use. Our volunteers along with Dr. Elizabeth Rouse and volunteers from Kaleidoscope women’s group spearheaded the effort which included visits to J. B. Atkinson Elementary, Portland Elementary, Camp Taylor and Audubon Traditional Elementary.
The St. Paul Kaleidoscope group is composed of women with a variety of interests and a desire to serve God and community. The group is made up of mothers, grandmothers, retired, working, homemakers, single and married and is open to all who share their interests and goals. They meet once a month, usually the first Tuesday of the month, 7:00 pm in the Youth Center of St. Paul Church in Louisville, KY.
