Kalia’s Kloset was established in 2019 by Kalia Kelyse Swann. In January 2017, Kalia sustained a head injury which gave her chronic migraines and has required multiple hospitalizations. During Kalia’s stay in the hospital, she was greeted with Child Life which inspired her to create personalized and painted gifts for children in the hospital.
Doctor for Healthy Communities was among multiple other donors who supported Kalia’s initiative to deliver gifts for teens to the Norton Children Hospital.
On December 20th, Kalia delivered gifts to Becca Gordon, MA, CCLS, Certified Child Life Specialist at Norton Children Hospital. She collected over $900 worth of items for her first drop off ! Kalia had enough donations for over 50 kids and donated a Wii and XBOX to the 5 West Neurology Unit. We’re very proud to be a part of Kalia’s great work.
