DHC Delivered Supplies to Numerous JCPS Schools for 2023 School Year

As we prepare for the 2023-24 school year, Doctors for Healthy Communities (DHC) is working with schools in the Louisville & surrounding areas to provide essential school supplies, water bottles, hygiene and cleaning products for student use. Our Executive Director Debbie Harper along with Dr. Elizabeth Rouse and volunteers from Kaleidoscope women’s group spearheaded the effort which included visits to J. B. Atkinson Elementary, Portland Elementary, Camp Taylor and Audubon Traditional Elementary, the Blue Lick Elementary Back to School Bash, Hazelwood Middle School (in New Albany, IN) and Newburg Middle School.
