DHC hosted a BBQ cookout for the residents of The Blanton House. The residents were extremely appreciative for the food, fun and fellowship. A great time was had by all and the weather held out creating a lovely day. Our volunteers distributed educational material about Diabetes Myths and Facts among the residents of Blanton House as well.
Special thanks to resident Murphy who served as grill chef, Chuck, David and Sissy who helped serve the residents. Thanks to Community Property Manager Shellie Williams, Blanton House staff and resident Carla who all helped make this cookout possible.
