DHC volunteers recently assisted J. B. Atkinson Elementary School in writing 90 encouragement cards for children preparing to take the KPREP test.
“We are asking our friends and supporters to help us write little notes of encouragement for our students. 205 Atkinson scholars will be taking the KPREP tests next month, and we are starting a note-writing campaign! Our goal is to give each student a little note each day of testing to let them know they have people cheering for, encouraging, and rooting them on,” said Lisa Hirsch, JB Atkinson Family Resource Center Coordinator.
